Color Print Calculator - Everything You Need in One Quote
An advanced tool for quick calculation of any printed projects in digital or offset technology. Our calculator allows for instant calculation based on selected parameters for both technologies, enabling optimization of your orders.
How does the color print calculator work?
The calculator allows you to enter all necessary project parameters – from format, type of paper, to enhancements such as lamination, selective UV varnish, 3D, or Liquid Gold or Liquid Silver (Gold/Silver), embossing. Additionally, it offers a wide range of finishing options, such as cutting any shapes, spiral binding, gluing into pads, punching, die-cutting, corner rounding, scoring, folding, perforation. With the color print calculator, you can calculate the most complex product. It has many other additional features, such as personalization service or wobblers (wobbling plastic hangers that, along with impressive printing, make an ideal “attention grabber,” especially effective on store shelves).
Comparison of digital and offset printing
The tool automatically generates two prices – one for digital printing, another for offset printing. This allows for quick cost comparison and selection of the optimal printing technology, depending on the project requirements. The calculator provides a quote for even the most complex orders, allowing for flexible budget adjustment.
Why the color print calculator?
This is an advanced tool for those who focus on individual solutions. Thanks to it, you can realize every project quickly, efficiently, and fully tailored to your needs. It allows you to quickly and effectively complete any project, adjusting it exactly to your requirements.
Technical Parameters for Color Printing Calculator
The calculator supports two types of printing technologies: digital printing on the Ricoh Pro C9210 machine and offset printing on the Heidelberg Speedmaster SM52-4 Anicolor. Both technologies ensure high printing precision, and the color printing calculator allows for a comparison of both technologies in terms of available finishing and enhancement options. This enables the user to match the technology to the specifics of the order, considering quality, quantity, and type of finishing requirements.
There is also the possibility of print personalization with variable data.
How to prepare files for printing in the color calculator?
In the color calculator, two printing technologies are available: digital printing and offset printing.
Project sizes
Prepare the project in the size of the ordered use +2mm bleed on each side.
Marking creasing, perforation, and folding
Describe in the notes the place of creasing and the direction of folding (V, C, Z).
If possible, mark the creasing places with a thin line on the bleed or edge of the use.
Marking drilling
Mark the drilling places on the project with a red dot (or another contrasting color) with a maximum diameter of 2 mm.
Preparing the work
Prepare the work for digital or offset printing according to the submitted order. All the rules for proper file preparation can be found in the Help section.
