How to prepare files for large format printing? 

Project sizes

  • Prepare the project in the size of the ordered use without bleed except for works intended for sticking on hard surfaces, which should be increased by 5 mm on each side.
  • In case there are more uses in one project, a frame (black hairline) should be added around each of them and a minimum distance of 5mm should be maintained between the uses. In the calculator in the "additional cutting for uses" window, enter the number of uses.

Preparing the work

Prepare the project for large format UV printing (the rules for preparing solvent printing are the same as for UV printing).

Materials Available in Large Format Printing

Paper 140 g

High-quality poster paper with a satin coating, intended for printing graphics displayed indoors and short-term outdoor advertising. An excellent choice for clients seeking an economical and aesthetic solution.

  • Application: posters, short-term advertising, interior decorations.

Paper 200 g

Stiff and relatively thick paper of high quality. Ideal for printing graphics requiring intense color and durability, both for indoor and short-term outdoor advertising campaigns.

Monomeric Film - Glossy or Matte

Two-year general-purpose self-adhesive film, dedicated to applications on flat surfaces. It features high print quality and universal application.

Transparent Monomeric Film

Three-year self-adhesive film for application on flat, transparent surfaces. The print is not opaque, allowing for a stained glass effect on windows and plexi.

Perforated ONE WAY VISION Film

Perforated self-adhesive film, reducing incoming light by about 50%. Allows visibility from the inside while maintaining visible graphics from the outside.

Cast Film - for Curved Surfaces

Five-year self-adhesive film for application on highly curved surfaces, such as vehicles with deep embossing. Requires experience and the use of a heat gun during installation. Recommended lamination with dedicated cast laminate to increase durability.

Backlit Self-adhesive Film - for Backlighting

Five-year translucent self-adhesive film, transmitting and diffusing about 40% of light. Provides intense colors when backlit, thanks to a double layer of ink.

  • Application: backlit boxes, illuminated advertisements.
  • Warranty: 1 year.

Backlit Non-adhesive - for Backlighting

200-micron polyester film with a white light-diffusing layer. Ideal for boxes with constant backlighting. Facilitates transport and reduces costs compared to printing on plexi.

Canvas

360 g/m² cotton fabric with a multi-layer priming coating, ensuring excellent ink adhesion and vibrant colors. Resistant to stretching and bending.

Block Out Poster/Rollup

Matte, white polypropylene film with a thickness of 210 µm and an opaque silver back. Scratch and water-resistant, ideal for rollup systems and outdoor and indoor advertising in challenging conditions.

  • Application: rollups, outdoor advertising, humid environments.

Self-adhesive WallArt Film (Wallpaper)

White, matte self-adhesive film with a thickness of 80 microns is an innovative solution for interior decoration. Intended for indoor application, it features easy handling due to reduced adhesion, allowing repositioning and easy removal without damaging surfaces. The film works excellently on acrylic coatings but is not suitable for latex and vinyl paint coatings. Adhesion testing is recommended on modern coatings with dirt-reducing and cleaning-facilitating compositions. The application substrate must be dry (approx. 3-4 weeks after painting).

Easy Dot Film - Glossy or Matte

Monomeric PVC film with a thickness of 100 µm available in matte and glossy versions. Equipped with special DOT adhesive, facilitating bubble-free application. Ideal for use on flat and slightly curved surfaces, with the possibility of repositioning and transferring without losing adhesive properties. The strong adhesive does not chemically react with ink. The film meets B1 and M1 fire safety standards.

Vinyl Wallpaper

Vinyl wallpaper on a non-woven backing with a weight of 350 g/m² and a thickness of approx. 450 µm. The matte surface ensures excellent print quality thanks to UV Gel technology. Quick-drying, scratch-resistant, and easy to apply using standard wallpaper tools. The wallpaper has a DIN EN 13501-1 fire protection class, CE compliance: compliant (ISO EN 15102), biocidal coating content, resistance to fungi and molds (<10% growth ASTM G21), Hygienic Certificate PZH.

Available in two textures:

  • Smooth - smooth surface.
  • Sand - fine sand texture.

Eco-Erfurt Wallpaper

Cellulose-nonwoven wallpaper with a weight of 190 g/m², made from a blend of cellulose and nonwoven fabric, without the use of PVC, heavy metals, or solvents. Easy to apply and remove. Provides photorealistic print quality, quick-drying, and scratch-resistant. It has a DIN EN 13501-1 fire protection class.

  • Wall graphics in apartments, educational and medical facilities.
  • Eco-friendly interior arrangements.

Smooth Latex Wallpaper

Wallpaper made of latex-coated paper, providing a smooth, matte surface without reflections. Maintains its shape during installation, facilitating application with standard wallpaper adhesive. Ideal for decorating entire walls or as cut decorative elements.

Frontlit Banner 510 Hi Quality

Coated vinyl fabric intended for single-sided printing. Thanks to its smooth surface, it provides high-quality graphics. Unlike laminated frontlits, this material does not harden or crack, maintaining flexibility even in harsh winter conditions.
