Sizes
Job Size
Any size not exceeding 330 mm x 440 mm.
Artwork Size
Full bleed size (in mm).

Attention!
Even if your artwork has no bleed (i.e. printed colours extending past the edge of a page) always set the page size of your document to the full bleed size. To ensure the correct size of your artwork, limit it within a rectangle set on the lowest layer, with no outline and no filling. In case of a bitmap please frame your artwork to the correct size.
Bleed
If you require the print to run right off the edge of the paper (known as bleeding), you must make sure that both background and all design elements which touch the edges of the page are extended by 2mm (i.e. hanging 2mm of EACH edge of the paper) to allow for slight movement when printing.
Scores for Folding
If you want your job to be scored and/or folded please describe in comments to your order how you mark scoring or folding lines and the breaking direction V, C, Z.
If it is possible please mark the folding score with the thin line on the bleed area or on the job's edge.

Graphics
Colour Space
Please provide your artwork in CMY K palette. Ensure that ALL images, text and other design elements have colours set to CMY K palette and do not contain any RGB or Pantone colours.

Please ensure that programme you use to prepare your files e.g. CorelDRAW, has colour management switched on and displays on your screen colours of the offset printing.

To ensure repeatability of colours within edition, saturated colours containing three CMY process colours should be turned into similar ones but containing all four CMYK process colours.

It is recommended to build grey screen tints with all four CMYK process colours.

Maximum ink coverage (the sum of the percentages of the four process colours) cannot exceed in one point 320% (280% for single side coated cards and offset paper). Complaints about artworks with higher ink coverage will not be accepted (so e.g. do not build black colour using 100% of each process colour).

In order to obtain colour repeatability on large areas (solids, screen tints) within edition, please add black (K) to your CMYK process builds.

In order to build grey screen tints we recommend using all CMYK process colours.

Attention! Please do not send us files in RGB as colours printed in this palette appear totally different to those desired!!!

Black Solid
In order to obtain rich saturated black on COATED paper use 78%C 68%M 58%Y 95%K.
For UNCOATED paper apply 35%C 30%M 30%Y 100%K.
Tone Gradation
Do not set your tonal range for values smaller than 5%.
To avoid visual bands add some noise to your gradation.
Optimum Resolution
Optimum resolution for bitmaps (graphics, photos) is 300dpi.
Layout
Please set texts and any important information (graphics, photos) at least 3mm from the edge of a page (in actual trim size) and from scores for folding.

When rotating your artwork by -90 degrees please check whether the bitmaps rotate correctly.

In case of saving your artwork as CDR file, please group all the objects and convert all fonts to curves / paths.
In your file please define your artwork size in accordance with above mentioned size and place your artwork centrally on a page.
If you save as EPS file the artwork which has no background (white), please frame it to above mentioned size.

Due to cutting tolerance some slight movements in relation to artwork edges may occur. For that reason we recommend to avoid those kinds of framing where such distortions could be visible.

By default utilities are reversed Head to Head.

File Saving
File Formats
Preferred: PDF, EPS, PRN
Acceptable: CDR, TIFF, JPG (unrecommended). Attention! From the INDESIGN software we accept only PRN files.
Additional Information
If you have text in your artwork please remember to convert it to curves / paths or attach used fonts to your file (refers only to PDF files).
Don't convert texts to bitmaps!!!

If your artwork consists of more than one page, please save all pages in a single file. If the chosen file format does not allow for saving all pages in one file, please save them in two separate files named face and reverse. (projekt_awers.tiff, projekt_rewers.tiff)

In case of TIFF files please save them as single layer files, with no additional channels.

If you send more than one file, please send them in ZIP format if possible.
For complex projects with multiple layers, overlapping graphics, shadows, transparencies etc., as far as possible, flatten to a single background image, retaining texts, logos, lines and other important elements of the project in the vector form only. In particular, this problem concerns CorelDRAW X4, where in extreme cases, despite a good-looking PDF file, the printout may contains errors.

Additional Information
Please keep in mind that due to differences in printing technology and colour presentation, some differences in colours may occur also when compared to inkjet printouts or colours displayed on a computer screen.
