Dimensions
Utility format
Size of utility printed over the gadget is a polygon with dimensions as shown in the template below
Project format
The project format is the same as the size of the print area
Template
In order to facilitate the design, we suggest downloading the template by which you can prepare your work.
  Files: zakr3.cdr

Attention! The template serves as a design model. Before saving the finished project, remove the template so as not to have it printed along with the utility!

Graphics

Colour model
Prepare the job in CMYK or CMYK+W If the work includes halftone-screen images (textures, photographs), also convert these to CMYK.
Black uniform colour background
For deep black, no other components need to be added.
Tonal transitions
Do not use tonal transitions to below 5%.
For tonal transitions, add noise to avoid banding.
Optimum resolution
The optimum resolution for raster graphics and photos is 300dpi.
Object spacing
When rotating a design by -90 degrees, check whether bitmaps rotate properly.

Place all texts on a separate layer (top).

When saving a job as CDR, group it and convert fonts to outlines.
In the file, defined page format in accordance with the above design format and place the project centrally on the page.

Given the base positioning tolerance, there may be some shift in the job relative to the utility. Therefore, we discourage placing any kind of frames around the project, whose non-centricity on the utility can be seen.

ATTENTION!
The product single highlighter requires white ground print! Prepare an additional project for the white ground print.

White
The machine can print in white.
White ground print is required for printing on colour and transparent base paper.
To order white ground print products, prepare and send 2 projects:
1) a file with the colour project,
2) a file with white ground print.
ZIP the so prepared files. - File with ground print - Copy the project to a separate file and replace all colours with black (black for white replacement occurs in the machine’s software).
Due to differences in colour matching, ground print components should be 0.2 mm smaller than their colour counterparts.
If you are developing your projects using CorelDRAW, add white outline with a thickness of 0.2 mm to items filled with black. When drafting, note that with thin lines (such as in small fonts), there will be no option of narrowing the ground print down relative to the project, which may adversely affect the print quality. In this case, if the project will be printed on dark materials, instead of narrowing the white, you can add an edge of the same colour as the filling to the colour line (for blue letters, add a black outline).

Attention! white objects defined as C0%,M0%,Y0%,K0% will be transparent in the printout.

File Saving
File Formats
Preferred: PDF, EPS, PRN
Acceptable: CDR, TIFF, JPG (unrecommended). Attention! From the INDESIGN software we accept only PRN files.
Additional Information
If you have text in your artwork please remember to convert it to curves / paths or attach used fonts to your file (refers only to PDF files).
Don't convert texts to bitmaps!!!

If your artwork consists of more than one page, please save all pages in a single file. If the chosen file format does not allow for saving all pages in one file, please save them in two separate files named face and reverse. (projekt_awers.tiff, projekt_rewers.tiff)

In case of TIFF files please save them as single layer files, with no additional channels.

If you send more than one file, please send them in ZIP format if possible.
For complex projects with multiple layers, overlapping graphics, shadows, transparencies etc., as far as possible, flatten to a single background image, retaining texts, logos, lines and other important elements of the project in the vector form only. In particular, this problem concerns CorelDRAW X4, where in extreme cases, despite a good-looking PDF file, the printout may contains errors.

Additional Information
Please keep in mind that due to differences in printing technology and colour presentation, some differences in colours may occur also when compared to inkjet printouts or colours displayed on a computer screen.
