Sizes | Final Trim Size | Job sizes correspond with sizes selected in the price quote form. They correspond to the size of the poster, which appears when you click on the format icon. (Tolerancja wymiaru ±2mm) | Full Bleed Size | This is the size (in millimeters) of the file being prepared. - (Click on a selected icon in the Price Quote form to learn the size of the artwork with bleed.)
PLEASE NOTE! Even if your artwork does not have any background colours or design elements extended to the bleed area, always use the full bleed size. To ensure the correct size of your artwork, mark it out with a rectangle at the lowest layer (without any outline or filling), or for a bitmap, frame the artwork appropriately.
| Bleed | Artwork background and all objects adjoining the edge of the final piece must be extended over the edges to the bleed. The required bleed should be 3 mm on each side. |
|
Graphics | Colour Model | Prepare your artwork in CMYK model (except for artwork with additional colour). If your artwork contains halftone images (textures, photos), convert it also to CMYK.
Using different colour spaces or colour models in one document (e.g. CMYK and RGB) leads to incorrect colour rendering and is not covered by warranty. Please note The final colours of the printed piece can be drastically influenced by the use of spot colours, mixing of different colour models in one artwork (RGB and CMYK in a .cdr file) or creating extra alpha channels. | Colour Screen Tints | If your artwork consists of large areas in single colour, we recommend to add some noise or slight texture to those areas in order to avoid visual bands. | Rich Black | To achieve a full, dark black, use a black color composed of 33%C 33%M 33%Y 100%K. For printing on backlit materials, use 60%C 55%M 50%Y 100%K. | Tone Gradation | Do not set your tonal range for values smaller than 5%. To avoid visual bands, add some noise to your gradation. | Optimum Resolution | 200-300 dpi, if the artwork contains text under 20 pt.
Otherwise, the recommended setting is at least 150 dpi. | Utility location | Important objects (photos, graphics, texts) should not be placed closer than 5 mm to the edge of the final trim size.
For pieces that will be equipped with rails, important elements must not be closer than 15 mm to the top and bottom edges.
If saved as CDR, the artwork must be grouped and fonts must be converted to curves.
The size of the page in the file must be defined according to the dimensions of the artwork and the artwork must be placed in the centre of the page.
If saved as EPS, artwork without a (white) background must be delimited with a white frame of the same size as the full bleed size. |
